This was a shot of suprise for the Oregon State Beavers. They thought it was a touchdown pass but, woe to them, interception by WSU's Eric Frampton.

A very busy collections---the blured fg is the spoil sport here, but probably you couldn't have done anything.

I was stimulated by the colour and the crowd but feel frustrated by the blur in the front.

Well to be honest, this was an accidental shot. I was shooting for the action but my AF focused on the crowd behind the interception. In hindsight, i liked the picture because it shows a part of the game people don't see-the crowd. It's moments like this you strive to catch as a photographer: that moment of emotion. Thats why I liked it, I have a full shoot of sport pictures, this wasn't about the action. Pls I think it's nice to give a focus as to what everyone is looking at.

Ah American football, never understood it. :P (well, I don't really understand football/soccer that much either)
I actually quite like the blur of the players and the focus of the crowd - like you said, the photo shows you the part of the game that people rarely see.. and it gives a great image of emotion.

The lady on the bottom left looks great. Her hair still flying in excitement until her bubble is burst by the interception.
